El Al Airline Meals

Status: Always Yoshon

Applies to all El Al airline meals traveling from Israel, in Dairy (Cholov Yisroel), Parve (Breads are Pas Yisroel), or Meat (Glatt Kosher).

Note: One should make sure ahead of time to order a “Special Kosher Meal”, as the regular meals generally come with loose bread in a basket, and flight attendants make sure that all meals are double-wrapped for heating in their on-flight ovens.
