Mehadrin Parve Products

Status: May Be Chodosh

Applies to all sizes and flavors of Mehadrin Non-Dairy Parve products containing Wheat, such as the following:
– IQ Ice Qream products, including Mini Very Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwiches, Vanilla Cones, and Cookies-n-Qream Ice Cream;
– Parve Dairy-Free Pudding, such as Chocolate or Vanilla.

Note: Mehadrin is NOT a “Yoshon” company. There is no way to check the status of their products, so if you like them, stock up just after Pesach. Until their hashgacha provides proof of Yoshon status via a Letter of Certification, they should be considered chodosh during the season.
